Knit & Natter Group

Let’s get knitting!

Knitting seems to be back in fashion, with many people from school age to retirement going on to chat rooms and forums to swop patterns and pictures of their successes, and to seek sympathy over their disasters. Hollywood actress Julia Roberts enjoys knitting while on set; sales of yarn in John Lewis are up and up, and the yarns company Rowan reports a resurgence of interest in their yarns and patterns. All over the country workshops and courses are filling up. One knitting group in London which began with three people in 2005 now numbers more than 7,000.

In Lochgilphead Parish Church we formed a Knit & Natter Group two years ago that meets once a fortnight.  You do not need to attend or be a member of our Church to come along.

Everyone is welcome.  We will even teach you to knit if you can’t already do so.

lf you are interested, please contact Margaret Davidson on 01546 603784.

Would you like something hand knitted? Orders can be taken for hand knitted socks, scarves, baby clothes, shawls, sweaters etc. Enquiries to Margaret Davidson 01546 603784. All proceeds will go to Church funds.
